Testimonials

People Behind The Words.

From the moment I stepped into IPC Immanuel Nellikunnu, I felt a genuine sense of belonging. The congregation is incredibly warm, and there is a palpable spirit of unity that makes you feel like family rather than just a visitor.

The worship services at IPC Immanuel are deeply moving, but it’s the sound, biblical teaching that keeps me grounded. The leadership here is dedicated to sharing the Word of God with clarity and passion.

Finding a church that caters to every generation can be tough, but IPC Immanuel excels at it. My children love the Sunday School programs, and the youth ministry provides a safe, encouraging space for them to grow.

Church History

Through the Years

The Pentecostal work in Thrissur commenced in May 1932. The earliest believers associated with this movement were from Kunnamkulam. The initial leadership was undertaken by Pastor Isaac and his brother Pastor Paul, along with K. V. Varkey and Mathai, who had embraced an ascetic life.

In the early stages, meetings were conducted for approximately one week in a rented house at the C.M.S. Quarters in Thrissur. Subsequently, gatherings were held at the residence of Taylor Thomas in Nellikkunnu. As a result of these meetings, Thomas and his wife travelled to Kunnamkulam, where they received baptism.
